Video: Arrested Parents Taken to Shengavit Investigative Committee - Ruben Melikyan

Human rights defender Ruben Melikyan wrote on his Facebook page: “The arrested parents have been taken to the Shengavit Investigative Committee. I am going there.”

Through a Facebook live stream, Melikyan informed that the parents were taken from near the headquarters of the NGO "Call of Sons." He reported, "A large group of red berets and plainclothes police were present. They have arrested [someone] on suspicion of the kidnapping of Ashot Pashinyan. This is a very questionable assessment. That isn't how kidnappings happen," said Melikyan.

It should be noted that earlier today, "Haykakan Zhamanak" published news that around 3:00 PM, an attempt to kidnap Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s son, Ashot Pashinyan, occurred near his home.
