Video: Armed Individuals Capture School in Kyrgyzstan, Injuries Reported
Armed individuals have reportedly seized a madrasa (a Muslim educational institution) and a school in Kyrgyzstan. Local media outlets are reporting this incident; however, the country's law enforcement agencies have neither confirmed nor denied the information.
It is known that two security personnel were injured during the special operation, one of whom has been hospitalized.
According to local residents, armed individuals may have taken hostages, as they appear to have barricaded themselves in one of the houses. Sounds of gunfire can still be heard.
The village of Dmitrievka is located 30 kilometers away from the capital.
