“One of the mothers said to get in the car, there was no abduction”: Garik Galeyaan

“We saw Ashotik, but there was no abduction as such, I honestly say. This was stated by Garik Galeyaan, a member of the ‘Call of Our Sons’ NGO, in a conversation with Irakanum.am. When asked if he had seen him in the government resort area, Galeyaan replied that it was no, but in front of the administrative court.

“Today we had a court session at the administrative court related to the events of September 21, that’s where we saw each other. There was a conversation, and the mothers called to talk to him. Then, when we always go to Yerablur after leaving the court. One of the mothers said get in the car, he came with the ‘Akouratni’ [vehicle], I wasn’t even in the car, I didn’t touch him with my finger, I didn’t talk to him either,” Galeyaan said.

It is noteworthy that a short time ago, the website owned by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s family, Hayastani Zhamanak, referring to its sources, reported that there was an attempt to abduct Ashot Pashinyan. According to preliminary information, those involved in the abduction were members of the ‘Call of Our Sons’ NGO, who forced Ashot Pashinyan to get into their car. However, at one point, Ashot was able to jump out of the moving car, which resulted in him being struck by another vehicle following the organization. As a result, Ashot Pashinyan suffered an injury to his leg, and the members of the ‘Call of Our Sons’ NGO fled the scene. Ashot Pashinyan has appealed to law enforcement agencies.
