Jalal Harutyunyan to Attend Inquiry Committee
According to the "Joghobot" newspaper, the inquiry committee established to investigate the circumstances of the military operations unleashed on September 27, 2020, is awaiting a response from the former commander of Artsakh, Jalal Harutyunyan, in order to convene a meeting and hear from the former commander-minister.
Harutyunyan has promised to meet with the chair of the inquiry committee, Andranik Kocharyan, but the date and time need to be arranged according to his convenience. It is known that he will be attending the National Assembly in early June, and the committee is eagerly awaiting this meeting.
The "Joghobot" newspaper previously reported that the inquiry committee examining the circumstances of the 44-day war will be inviting former commander Jalal Harutyunyan. This sequence of events will continue in the near future, with more invitations likely to follow.
However, the committee has limited time to operate, necessitating their urgency. It is noteworthy that the real objective of the inquiry committee, formed solely of representatives from the ruling party, is to absolve Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of responsibility regarding the possible circumstances of the war.
