Zelensky Arrives in London

Zelensky has arrived in London today and met with UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.

Earlier, Zelensky was in France. He and French President Emmanuel Macron announced the need to tighten anti-Russian sanctions, as well as to ensure stricter oversight of previously imposed restrictions. This was stated in a joint declaration by the presidents, which was published by the Élysée Palace following their meeting.

According to the statement, France and Ukraine agree on the necessity of increasing sanctions pressure on the Russian Federation and effectively enforcing these measures. The parties also agreed on the need to prevent and restrain the circumvention of sanctions through third countries.
