Shots Fired in Yerevan: Bullet Marks Found on Car and 5 Shells Recovered

Shots have been fired in Yerevan. The incident occurred yesterday, on May 14.

Operational information was received by the Criminal Investigation Department of the Shengavit Police Division around 7 PM that gunfire had erupted on the 1st street of Nerk'in Charbakh.

Police and investigators discovered an Opel vehicle in front of house number 2/1 on the mentioned street, which bore bullet marks. During the examination of the crime scene, five 20 mm shell casings were also found.

The police and investigative department are undertaking necessary operational and investigative actions to identify the person who committed the crime and to discover the weapon used in the criminal act. It is also being investigated whether there are any victims as a result of the gunfire, as well as the identity of the car owner.
