Pashinyan and Aliyev to Meet Again: Armenian Government
A trilateral meeting was held in Brussels between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, President of the European Council Charles Michel, and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
During the meeting, discussions focused on the unblocking of regional transport and economic infrastructures, the demarcation of borders and ensuring border security between the two countries, the agreement on the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the necessity of addressing the rights and security of the people of Nagorno-Karabakh, as well as issues related to prisoners, missing persons, and other humanitarian concerns.
Agreement was reached to continue discussions on June 1 in Chișinău during the summit of the European Political Community, with the participation of the Armenian Prime Minister, Azerbaijani President, French President, German Chancellor, and President of the European Council in a five-party format, and in July during trilateral meetings in Brussels involving the Armenian Prime Minister, Azerbaijani President, and President of the European Council.
