Situation on the Frontline: Armenian Side Suffers Casualties from Two Days of Provocations
No significant violations of the ceasefire were recorded overnight, according to the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia.
"As of 08:30, the situation on the front line is relatively stable," the Ministry stated in a report.
It should be recalled that on May 11, the units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces opened fire using artillery and mortars directed at Armenian positions located near Sotk. As a result of this provocation, the Armenian side reported 4 wounded.
On the same day, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces used artillery against the villages of Norabak in Gegharkunik Province and mortars against Verin Shorja.
On May 12, Azerbaijan fired on the village of Kutch and employed drones targeting Sotk. Following enemy fire, one soldier was killed, and two others were wounded.
In total, as a result of two days of provocations, the Armenian side reports 1 casualty (Narek Norairi Baghdasaryan, born in 2003) and 6 wounded.
