Dozens of Ukrainian Drones Attempt to Strike Crimea
The Governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev, confirmed that the anti-air defense forces and electronic warfare units repelled yet another drone attack on Sevastopol during the night.
According to him, one drone lost control and crashed in a forest area. Its debris was discovered by emergency ministry personnel and rescuers. Another drone was shot down over the sea, near the Chersonese Peninsula. A third drone was also destroyed over the sea, off the coast of North Malo.
Razvozhaev clarified that in total, more than ten drones targeted the Crimean peninsula and Sevastopol during the night.
The governor emphasized that no objects in the city were damaged, and there were no injuries. All operational services continue to monitor the situation.
In total, anti-aircraft means detected 22 Ukrainian drones, all of which were destroyed in the waters of the Black Sea.
Earlier on Saturday, the head of Crimea, Sergey Aksyonov, reported that the attempt of the Ukrainian armed forces to strike the peninsula was successfully repelled. This time, Ukraine used two ballistic missiles from the Grom-2 operational-tactical missile system.
