Rescue Workers Assist Injured Bird

Rescue workers have assisted an injured bird, as reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

On May 13, at 16:44, the National Crisis Management Center received a call reporting an injured buzzard spotted in a park near building 74 on Nairi Zaryan Street in Yerevan, requiring the assistance of rescue workers.

An operational group from the National Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that the bird discovered was a predatory buzzard (with a damaged wing), which is registered in the Red Book of Armenia. Rescue workers transported the bird to the Yerevan Zoo.
