New, Notable Version on the Barracks Fire Case: 'Haykakan Jamanak'

Relevant to the tragic fire incident in the barracks of soldiers from Azat village, the investigative body is examining a significant circumstance.

According to information received by the 'Haykakan Jamanak' newspaper, the investigative body is exploring the hypothesis that there was adversary involvement in the fire incident that affected 15 soldiers. Recall that on January 19, a fire erupted in the military barracks in Azat village, resulting in the deaths of 15 servicemen; there are four individuals sitting on the defendant's bench in this case.

It is also worth noting that following the fire, the chairwoman of the Standing Committee on Human Rights Protection and Public Affairs of the National Assembly, Taguhi Tovmasyan, called for consideration of the likelihood of such a provocation carried out by the adversary, and now the investigative body is looking into this version. Law enforcement agencies do not rule out the adversarial factor.
