Linda Yaccarino Appointed as New CEO of Twitter

Linda Yaccarino, the former head of sales at NBCUniversal, has been appointed as the new CEO of Twitter. This announcement was made by the social media platform's owner, entrepreneur Elon Musk, on Twitter.

“Linda will primarily focus on business operations, while I will concentrate on product design and new technology,” Musk explained.

It became known at the end of 2022 that Musk was actively searching for a successor. After dissolving the board of directors in November 2022 and taking on sole leadership of the company, Musk stated that his role as CEO of the social media platform would be temporary.
