80.9% of Russians Trust Putin, 77.1% Approve of His Actions

The majority of Russians (80.9%) express trust in President Vladimir Putin, while 77.1% have stated that they approve of his activities. This is reported by РИА Новости, citing the results of a ВТСИОМ survey.

According to the study, 80.9% of respondents had a positive response to the question regarding direct trust in the President of the Russian Federation, while 15.1% disagreed. Additionally, 77.1% of citizens approved of Putin's actions, with 14.1% expressing disapproval.

The ВТСИОМ-Спутник all-Russian survey was conducted from February to May 2023 among a sample of 1,600 individuals aged 18 and older.
