We Will Pursue All Disruptors: Andranik Kocharyan
The Chairman of the National Assembly's Defense Committee, Andranik Kocharyan, commented on the gunfire occurring in Sotk in an interview with Factor. He stated that actions had taken place and that the current shooting has stopped, which means that our armed forces have been able to solve the problem posed to them.
“Thank God we have no casualties; we have injured. The adversary has spread information claiming they have casualties and injuries. The issue is not about that. The issue is that this is already the umpteenth time after the 44-day war that the opponent is continuing its efforts to achieve new successes, leveraging the successes acquired during the war through inertia, trying again to secure some achievements in various areas, military, then turning them into political ones. Ultimately, negotiations are underway where different interests clash,” Kocharyan noted.
According to him, the adversary has not succeeded in developing its intentions during the confrontation. “Initially, we can record that, from a military perspective, they wanted to see the condition of the Armenian Armed Forces after the war. And if the situation had remained as they envisioned it even a year ago, they would have also aimed for positional improvement, which they have failed to achieve this time as well,” Andranik Kocharyan stated.
The MP advised the media and everyone else that whatever our armed forces and military units are doing should not be hindered by anyone. “We will pursue all disruptors,” the MP stated.
It should be noted that from early this morning, the Azerbaijani side fired at Armenian positions for several hours, resulting in four injuries on the Armenian side. The Azerbaijani side reported one dead and one injured.
