Russian Guard Unit Deployed to Special Operation Zone, Says Kadyrov

Ramzan Kadyrov, the head of the Chechen Republic of the Russian Federation, has announced that one of the combat-ready and effective units of the Russian Guard has been sent from Chechnya to the special operation zone. This was reported by RIA Novosti.

"The 96th operational regiment of the National Guard, one of the most combat-ready and effective units, has moved from the Chechen Republic to the special military operation zone," Kadyrov wrote on his Telegram channel.

Kadyrov explained the high combat readiness of the servicemen by their "rich combat experience and participation in the most complex positional battles and special operations within the framework of the special military operation, as well as in the fight against international terrorism on the territory of the republic."

He noted that the regiment's servicemen, under the command of the well-known Chechen commander Magomed Tushayev, are "successfully fulfilling combat tasks, defeating Ukrainian formations, and overall achieving great successes in the area of responsibility on the front line."
