Musician Mihran Agajanyan to Leave Position as Chief Conductor of Perm Opera
The chief conductor of the Perm Opera and Ballet Theater, Mihran Agajanyan, has announced his intention to leave the position due to issues with the management. This was reported by Newsko.ru.
“There are individuals who, in my opinion, hinder the creative process. I have differing views on engaging with the theater with these people, and I feel that our cooperation could be problematic,” Agajanyan stated.
He clarified that he will officially leave the chief conductor position on June 14, 2023. At the same time, the artist expressed his gratitude to the public and the team he was supposed to work with at the Perm Opera and Ballet Theater.
“I thank my beloved singers, accompanists, dancers, my cherished choir, and, of course, my favorite orchestra for their dedication and professionalism,” concluded the conductor.
