He is either a fool or a manipulator: Poland's Justice Minister on Scholz
Poland's Justice Minister Zbigniew Ziobro has sharply criticized German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, who made a controversial statement regarding Germany's role in World War II.
Earlier, the German Chancellor wrote on social media that 78 years ago Germany was liberated from "the tyranny of national socialism." Scholz's statement has drawn furious backlash from Zbigniew Ziobro, who claimed that the German Chancellor is acting in the tradition of Joseph Goebbels, as he compares the real human losses and the genocide of Jews with the image damage suffered by Germany due to its own mistakes.
“Absurdity and lies have a limit. By insulting the real victims of World War II, the German Chancellor has crossed that line. He is either a fool or a manipulator,” Ziobro stated.
It is noteworthy that Goebbels was a German politician and one of the most influential Nazis of the Third Reich.
