The Situation in Artsakh is Taking on More Extreme Manifestations: Abrahamyan
The situation in Artsakh, which has been under blockade for 150 days, is taking on more extreme manifestations. This statement comes from Tigran Abrahamyan, the secretary of the 'Honorable to Have' faction in the National Assembly.
'Especially since April 23, after the illegal establishment of an Azerbaijani checkpoint in the corridor connecting Armenia and Artsakh, the situation has deteriorated significantly. The volume of essential goods entering Artsakh has been sharply restricted. Azerbaijan is obstructing even the activities of the Red Cross. Due to the lack of gas, a severe power crisis, and fuel shortages, not only is the economy at a standstill, but problems are arising that were difficult to imagine just 1 or 2 months ago. Artsakh is in a hostage situation with all the serious consequences that follow. The forces present in the region are silent, while the Armenian authorities have adopted a posture as if nothing has happened, with some representatives trying to justify their position and criminal indifference with pronounced insolence and immorality.'
