Russian Citizen Killed in Gaza Bombing

A Russian citizen, Jamal Abu Haswan, has been killed in an Israeli airstrike in the Gaza Strip, according to Ashraf al-Qidra, a representative of the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

In total, at least 12 people have been reported dead, including commanders of the Islamic Jihad group, and 20 others have been injured.

Abu Haswan's neighbor and friend, Muavia Yakob, told the agency that a missile hit the apartment where Abu Haswan was living in Gaza City. He noted that Abu Haswan's wife and son were also killed, with their nationality not specified.

The deceased had been working as the head of a medical facility specialized in physiotherapy and rehabilitation.

The Israeli army had previously reported strikes targeting several positions of the Islamic Jihad group in the Gaza Strip, asserting that among the dead were three senior commanders from the group.
