Foreign journalist Arman Solden killed in shelling in Ukraine
A foreign journalist, Arman Solden, has been killed in shelling in eastern Ukraine. According to Le Monde, Solden, who was the video coordinator for Agence France-Presse (AFP) in Ukraine, died on Tuesday due to a shell strike near Chasiv Yar, as reported by AFP journalists who witnessed the incident.
The shelling occurred on the outskirts of a city near Bakhmut, which has been the epicenter of fighting in eastern Ukraine for several months. The AFP team was hit by Grad rockets while they were with a group of Ukrainian soldiers. 32-year-old Solden was killed when a shell struck the area where he was lying. The other team members were not injured.
