Erdogan Raises State Employees' Salaries by 45 Percent Days Before Elections
In Turkey, state employees' salaries will increase by 45 percent, while the minimum wage will be set at 15,000 lira. This announcement was made by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan just five days ahead of the presidential and parliamentary elections in the country.
This change affects approximately 700,000 workers.
