Video: Severe Fires Erupt in Sverdlovsk, Kurgan, and Tyumen Regions

The battle against wildfires continues in the Kurgan region. Governor Vadim Shumkov has declared a state of emergency in the area. Three people have died due to the fires that broke out in the Kurgan district.

Witnesses report flames along the Yekaterinburg-Kurgan highway, making travel along this route extremely dangerous. Residents from several villages have been evacuated.

Currently, the forest fires have created particularly severe situations in the Kurgan, Sverdlovsk, and Tyumen regions.
