Technical Knockout: Raphael Hovhannisyan Defeats Turkish Opponent

86 kg weight category boxer Raphael Hovhannisyan secured a technical knockout victory against his Turkish opponent, advancing to the quarterfinals. This information is confirmed by a press release from the Armenian Boxing Federation.

“The first round was somewhat challenging for our athlete, where Hovhannisyan won with a score of 3:2. In the 2nd round, the Armenian boxer completely overwhelmed his Turkish rival. A series of powerful punches led to three knockdowns, after which the referee stopped the bout.

In the quarterfinals, our athlete will face Georgian Giorgi Kushitashvili,” the federation reported.
