Photos: Car Plunges into Ravine in the Morning, Including a Minor among the Injured
On May 8, at 06:13 AM, a call was received at the Kotayk regional emergency management center reporting that a car had plunged into a ravine on the Hrazdan-Charnetzavan highway; there were casualties, one of whom was trapped.
A firefighting and rescue team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that a Hyundai vehicle (driver: V.M., born in 1970) had veered off the road on the 33rd kilometer of the Yerevan-Sevan highway, collided with the roadside barrier, hit a tree, and then fell into a ravine (approximately 6 meters deep).
Before the rescuers arrived, the driver and passenger M.M. (born in 2010) were hospitalized at the Charentsavan Medical Center. Rescuers extracted another passenger, A.L. (born in 1964), from the vehicle and brought him to an ambulance; the injured individual was also hospitalized at the Charentsavan Medical Center.
