Haypost Warns of SMS Scams
The postal service 'Haypost' has warned that attempts are being made to obtain banking information from people using its name and trademark. The information was shared by Haypost on its Facebook page.
It has been revealed that unknown numbers registered in another country are sending text messages (SMS) to citizens under the name of 'Haypost', offering to pay a delivery fee of 233.12 drams for a package to be delivered.
Upon clicking the link sent to them, a window opens requesting personal and banking card information.
Haypost urges citizens not to provide any banking details under any circumstances.
