Gunshots Heard in Yeghhegnadzor: Over 20 Shells Found

Operational information has been received at the regional division of the police in Vayots Dzor province and the Yeghhegnadzor police department that gunshots were fired on Shahumyan Street, near the Yeghhegnadzor municipality.

Police and investigators have found around 20 fired cartridges near the Yeghhegnadzor municipality. An investigation has been initiated by the Vayots Dzor regional investigative department of Armenia’s Investigative Committee regarding the incident.

The police and investigative department are undertaking necessary operational and investigative measures to identify the person who fired the shots and to recover the firearm used in the crime. It is also being determined whether there are any injured individuals as a result of the gunfire.
