Czech President Urges Ukraine Not to Rush into Counteroffensive
The President of the Czech Republic has urged Ukraine not to rush into a counteroffensive. According to Czech leader Petr Pavel, the Ukrainian armed forces have only one chance to successfully carry out an offensive operation in 2023.
Pavel made these comments in an interview with The Guardian. He believes that during the offensive operation, Ukraine will inevitably face 'terrible losses.' Moreover, the Czech leader argues that Kyiv should not 'underestimate the Russians, as they have sufficient manpower, enough equipment, even if it is older and perhaps in smaller numbers,' as well as 'a large amount of artillery and plenty of ammunition.'
