Video: Citizen Blows Himself Up Inside Car in Russia
A resident of Yeysk in the Krasnodar region has blown himself up inside his car, according to reports from Telegram channels.
In the afternoon, traffic police officers stopped a "Niva" vehicle on Michurin Street, but the driver locked himself inside the car and began threatening with an explosion. The 45-year-old local resident refused to exit the vehicle and claimed he had explosives with him.
At the moment when National Guard officers attempted to approach the vehicle, an explosion occurred. The driver died on the spot, and several law enforcement officers sustained shrapnel injuries.
