Organization Claims Responsibility for Assassination Attempt on Zakhar Prilepin

The "Atesh" organization, which presents itself as a "military movement of Ukrainians and Crimean Tatars," has claimed responsibility for the assassination attempt on Russian writer Zakhar Prilepin.

According to a statement on the community's Telegram channel, the writer has been pursued since January 2023 following an alleged "order." This information was reported by News.ru.

Recall that in Nizhny Novgorod, unidentified individuals detonated a bomb in Prilepin's vehicle. He survived but sustained injuries. Law enforcement agencies have reported that Prilepin's driver died as a result of the incident.
