Cavushoglu on Shooting Incident Involving Turkish Ambassador's Vehicle in Sudan
Turkey's Foreign Minister Mevlüt Cavuşoğlu has announced that no one was injured in the shooting incident involving the vehicle of Turkey's Ambassador to Sudan, İsmail Çobanoğlu.
“In light of the situation in Sudan, it has been decided to temporarily relocate our embassy from Khartoum to a safer location in Port Sudan. The personnel have been evacuated, and shots were fired at the ambassador’s vehicle during transit; however, there were no casualties, only damage to the vehicle,” Cavuşoğlu stated.
It should be noted that shots were fired at the Turkish ambassador’s vehicle in Sudan.
