Accident on Ijevan-Noyemberyan Road: One Injured

On May 6, at 00:23, the Tavush regional crisis management center received a report about an accident on the 6th km of the Ijevan-Noyemberyan highway, with one person injured and requiring the assistance of rescuers.

A firefighting and rescue team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' regional rescue department was dispatched to the scene. It was found that a Volkswagen vehicle (driver: S.V., born in 1991) had veered off the road and collided with a tree.

Before the rescuers arrived, S.V. was extricated from the vehicle by local forces. The injured person was hospitalized at Ijevan Medical Center, where doctors assessed their condition as satisfactory.

The rescuers disconnected the vehicle's battery and closed the gas tank valve.
