VIDEO: We Have Information that There Are Live Children in Azerbaijan, We Don't Know Who They Are – Relative
The Chairperson of the Permanent Committee on Human Rights Protection and Public Affairs of the National Assembly, Taguhi Tovmasyan, met with the parents of soldiers who went missing during the 44-day war.
"The Red Cross says there are 303 missing people, they say it themselves, which means they have seen these children. What is the problem if they know, why are they not working on it, who is holding whom? If we can help in any way, we are ready to assist in whatever depends on us. But there are always reports and publications, and then it subsides. As soon as the news becomes active, a wave is released, we relax, and that’s it," stated Edik Arevshatyan, the uncle of a missing soldier, during the discussion.
He further added that the work of the relevant authorities does not satisfy them, and it is necessary to appeal to international organizations. "As many departments exist, we have approached them, they say they are working, they are doing, but in reality, we have no results. We are confident that our relatives are in captivity in Baku, we just have no information, which is why their status remains unknown. The parents are not sitting idle; through our connections, abroad, and various organizations, we understand that our children are alive," he said, adding that they have specific information that there are live children in Azerbaijan, but they do not know who they are.
