Video: Parent Given Three Remains, Told It’s Their Son, Bury Him – Taguhi Tovmasyan

Parents of missing servicemen from the 44-day war claim they have evidence that their sons have been captured and are among unidentified prisoners. However, the authorities are not working towards their return. This was stated by Taguhi Tovmasyan, the chairwoman of the Human Rights Protection and Public Affairs Standing Committee, during a conversation with reporters after meeting with the parents of the missing servicemen on May 5.

“It was a very heavy conversation. They recount an incident where the relevant authority handed a parent three remains and told them, ‘This is your son, bury him.’ Another parent has a son who is 1.83 meters tall, but they were given DNA identification data of a boy who is 1.60 meters tall. His son wore size 43 shoes, but they handed over the remains of a shorter boy. They are being told to ‘adjust’ to the situation. The identification process involves actions that are outright surreal. The parents have conducted extensive investigative work and uncovered circumstances regarding their sons’ deaths or abductions,” Tovmasyan stated.

According to Tovmasyan, parents have conducted site inspections and gathered other evidence, including retrieving data from mobile operators.
