Mrs. Gohar, Who Was Taken by Police from Yerablur, Has a Match in Her Son's DNA

The 'Voice of Sons' public organization, founded by parents who lost their children in the 44-day war, has issued a statement:

“The 'Voice of Sons' has not been able to recover from this news for 2 days... With great sorrow and heartbreak, we learned that our Mrs. Gohar, who was forcibly taken by police from Yerablur, has a match in her son's DNA...

It has been a difficult and fierce 3 years... Several DNA tests... After receiving an incorrect response in Armenia, it has been confirmed in Germany that this small fragment indeed belongs to Mrs. Gohar's son, Arayik Baghdasaryan.

Arayik Baghdasaryan was born in 1996 and was also a participant in the four-day war. Upon hearing the news of the war in 2020, he voluntarily went to Artsakh on September 28. He fought in one of the hottest spots, in Jrrakan.

He was a brave hero who sacrificed his life during the 44-day war. The farewell ceremony for the volunteer Arayik Baghdasaryan will take place today at the St. John Church in Kond.

Hero Arayik Baghdasaryan will be buried tomorrow at the 'Yerablur' military pantheon... We hoped not to see Arayik's name on the list of the fallen... But 3 years later, this news yet again turned our souls upside down...,” says the statement released by the parents.
