IRGC to Create Unmatched Aircraft Carrier in the World: Air Force Chief

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) is working on the creation of a unique aircraft carrier that has no equal in the world. This was announced on Thursday evening by the commander of the IRGC Navy, Alireza Tangsiri, as reported by Tehrantimes.

“In the future, we will see an aircraft carrier that does not exist in the world,” he stated. “This carrier has the capability to transport both aircraft and various missile-launching boats within it, which has no equal in the world,” he noted.

According to General Tangsiri, the Shahid Mahdavi and Shahid Rodaki ships are successful prototypes. “The IRGC Navy has been formed with a series of missile boats, but today it is equipped with various equipment in the fields of missiles, floating drones, and others, all of which are domestically produced. Every day, the process of modernizing this equipment is followed with more attention. Therefore, the IRGC Navy's missile boats are now equipped with precision-guided missiles,” the Iranian military official stated.
