Iran Accumulates Uranium for 5 Nuclear Bombs, Israeli Defense Minister Says
Iran has accumulated enough uranium for five nuclear bombs, according to Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant during his visit to Athens, as reported by The Times of Israel.
“Iran is not satisfied with just one nuclear bomb. So far, Iran has acquired material enriched to 20% and 60% for five nuclear bombs,” he stated to his Greek counterpart Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos.
It is believed that Iran has not yet enriched uranium to 90%, which is necessary for nuclear weapons, but could pursue this step if it chooses to do so.
