The two-time European champion in Greco-Roman wrestling, Malhas Amoyan, has summarized the championship held in Croatia, where he won a gold medal. In an interview with reporters, he stated: "I am happy that I was able to become a two-time European champion. This time it was more challenging. We prepared well with the help of our coaches. My opponent was well-prepared for the final and was doing everything to win. In 20 seconds, I was able to make a move and recover what I had lost. I'm not entirely satisfied with the final match because if I hadn't made that move, it could have been fatal for me," said the wrestler.

According to Amoyan, this victory has given him confidence for future competitions. "This victory has given me more strength in this weight category. I will approach the next tournaments with more confidence. Nevertheless, there are many gaps. I need to do everything with the help of my coaches to fill those gaps and prepare for the World Championship, which is a key point on the road to Paris. It is up to me to train well and secure a spot for the Olympic Games, and later try to become a medalist at the Paris Games," said Malhas Amoyan.
