Video: Nine Residential Houses Burned in Russia

In the town of Borzya in the Trans-Baikal Territory, nine residential houses have burned down. This was reported on May 1 by the regional department of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, as conveyed by local news outlets.

"The fire department is extinguishing the fire affecting nine residential houses on Novoselskaya Street in the city of Borzya. A total of 48 personnel and six pieces of equipment are currently on site. The high winds, reaching up to 23 m/s, are complicating the extinguishment efforts," the statement said.

The extent of the burned area has been confirmed, but no information has been provided regarding any injured individuals. A firefighting train is operating at the scene, and a Mi-8 helicopter has been brought in to transport firefighters.
