Body of a Man Discovered on Mashtots Avenue

Gunshots were heard in front of the first entrance of building number 2 on Mashtots Avenue in Yerevan, resulting in the death of a 54-year-old man. This information was reported by shamshyan.com.

The police operational management center received a report about the incident on April 30 at around 23:50.

“Police and investigators discovered 2 expended 9mm shell casings and 1 fired bullet at the scene, as well as traces of a gunshot on the entrance door. Authorities have determined that the victim is 54-year-old Soloman V., a resident of the same building, who was shot at twice by an unidentified assailant,” the website states.

A criminal case has been initiated under the characteristics of murder in the investigative department, and a number of examinations have been ordered by the investigator, including a forensic examination of the body.

Law enforcement is conducting necessary operational-investigative and joint actions to identify the perpetrator of the murder and to find him along with the weapon used in the crime.
