Azerbaijanis, Do Not Engage in Financial Transactions with the Ranks of Russian Peacekeepers, Hohikyan
“The staged event filmed near the Azerbaijani checkpoint on the bridge occurred in this manner: several villagers from the Shushi region, from the Hin Shen and Mets Shen villages, agreed with the rank-and-file or lower-ranking officers of the Russian peacekeepers, and gave them money, and they helped them go to Goris.” This was stated by interethnic relations expert Nairi Hohikyan.
“Upon their return, the same rank-and-file peacekeepers no longer stood as the owners for the Armenian villagers, and they were greeted by Azerbaijanis. And do you know why the Russians do not assist Armenian villagers? Because there were illegal and secret transactions; people went to Goris without registration, for which the Russian peacekeepers might be subjected to their command. As a result, due to the involvement of some Armenians, significant propaganda resources are gained for Azerbaijan. Dear Artsakh residents, I once again urge you, do not engage in financial transactions with the rank-and-file personnel of the Russian peacekeepers. As long as there are issues from the enemy side, go to Goris exclusively with the guidance of the Artsakh government or the command of the Russian peacekeeping forces.
By giving alcohol or money to the Russian rank-and-file soldiers, you undermine our struggle for security; in this way, you assist the enemy in helping Azerbaijan. Do not do this, think of your children not just from the stomach level, but also about security. And if there are still people who prefer to achieve their goals through transactions with Russian rank-and-file soldiers or even with the enemy, then it is better for such individuals to leave Artsakh. They harm our struggle,” Hohikyan wrote.
