Nine People Die in India Due to Mysterious Gas Leak

In the Punjab state of India, at least nine people have died due to a gas leak, and eleven others have been hospitalized, local authorities reported.

“This is undoubtedly a gas leak. A team from the National Disaster Response Force is on-site to evacuate people and carry out rescue operations. As a result of this incident, nine people have died, and eleven are in the hospital,” the police stated.

Authorities also added that the source of the leak and the type of gas are still being determined.
