Youth European Boxing Championship: Armenia Secures 4 Medals
The quarterfinals of the Youth European Boxing Championship are taking place on the fifth competition day in Yerevan. Today, the four representatives of Armenia who entered the ring achieved victories, ensuring at least bronze medals.
Among the Armenian representatives, 71 kg boxer Arman Miskaryan also claimed victory. In the first round, he knocked his Czech opponent down three times, leading the referee to stop the bout, marking a technical knockout.
Today, 67 kg boxer Yura Bablooyan also won, overcoming his Estonian rival. 63.5 kg boxer Arthur Mkrtchyan advanced to the semifinals after defeating the representative from Czechia.
Bronze medals were also secured by 48 kg boxer Hovhannes Harutyunyan, who triumphed early over Romanian Alexandru Borlani.
Today, three more Armenian representatives will enter the ring.
