Ukraine Will Launch Counteroffensive by May 15: Prigozhin
The founder of the Wagner private military company, Yevgeny Prigozhin, has announced the preparedness of the Ukrainian armed forces to launch a counteroffensive. Prigozhin made this statement in a video interview with journalist Semyon Pegov.
According to Prigozhin, Ukrainian troops have not advanced due to bad weather and possibly "some internal issues." He suggested, "Maybe we will get a break around May 9. The Ukrainian army has completed its preparatory work and will likely start its counteroffensive by May 15. The counteroffensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces will be 100% by May 15," he asserted.
Prigozhin, the founder of the Wagner private military company, will not be present at the Victory Parade in Moscow. "No. We have a lot of work to do," Prigozhin replied when asked about his attendance. It is worth noting that on April 28, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov announced that units of fighters involved in the special military operations would participate in the parade dedicated to the 78th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War at Red Square.
