Erdogan Appears in Public for the First Time After Illness

The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has made his first public appearance following news of his illness at the Teknofest aviation and space technologies festival held in Istanbul.

According to TRT Haber, Erdogan was joined on stage by his wife, Emine, as well as the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, who attended the event with his wife, Mehriban.

The trio took the stage in Turkish-made TOGG electric cars. It is noteworthy that the festival, which is taking place in the area of the former Ataturk International Airport, features various military aircraft, helicopters, drones, and other technology used by the Turkish Air Force.
