Opening the Shushi-Karin Tak Road Will Not Alleviate the Issues of Artsakh Armenians: Expert
Naturally, opening the Shushi-Karin Tak road after being blocked for 138 days will not alleviate the issues faced by the Armenians of Artsakh. This was stated by Azerbaijani expert Garnik Davtyan on his Telegram channel.
Moreover, the construction of an Azerbaijani checkpoint on the Agari River in the occupied area itself addresses the issue that Azerbaijan initially set out to resolve:
- To control entry and exit to Artsakh, allowing them to restrict access to their native land at any time.
- To gather information about our compatriots living in Artsakh, creating extensive opportunities for “recruitment.”
- Later, it may impose tax obligations on the goods transported through the checkpoint.
- The lives of our compatriots who are fighting against Azerbaijani barbarism on virtual platforms (FB, Telegram, and others) are also endangered.
