If They Pose a Threat to the Country's Security, They Will Be Expelled: Putin's New Order
Citizens of Ukraine residing in territories annexed by Russia, who have decided to maintain their Ukrainian citizenship, may live there until July 1, 2024. After this date, they may be expelled if deemed to pose a 'threat to the national security of the country.'
This decree has been signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin. According to the document, such a 'threat' may be posed not only by those who advocate for the violent overthrow of the constitutional order, plan, and finance terrorist and extremist actions, but also by individuals participating in unauthorized meetings, rallies, protests, marches, or pickets.
