The residents of Firdusi are staging another protest. Despite the approval of a construction plan and the commencement of construction, several dozen families living in the Firdusi neighborhood of Yerevan refuse to leave their homes, stating that the government’s expropriation program violates property owners' rights.

One of the Firdusi residents said, “Tomorrow they’ll say ‘Your wife is mine, your husband too.’ The developers came to get rich.”
