Earthquake in Iran with a magnitude of 4.9
Today, an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.9 has been recorded in southern Iran. This was reported by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre.
The underground tremors occurred at 14:20 local time. The epicenter of the earthquake was located 113 km northwest of Bandar Abbas (population approximately 526,000). The focus was at a depth of 10 km.
As of now, there is no information regarding casualties or damages.
