Azerbaijan's President Aliyev Claims Armenia Prevents Corridor with Nakhchivan
In Baku, a meeting took place between the President of Azerbaijan and the French Foreign Minister. During the meeting, Aliyev again referred to and made accusations against Armenia: “Since the signing of the trilateral statement on November 10, 2020, and the end of the 44-day war, Armenia has not fulfilled its obligations. Armenia does not allow the creation of a corridor with Nakhchivan, and it does not withdraw its troops from the territories of Azerbaijan where Russian peacekeepers are temporarily deployed. By abusing the Lachin corridor, Armenia has transported weapons and ammunition to Nagorno-Karabakh,” said Aliyev.
It should be noted that since the signing of the trilateral statement, Azerbaijan has continuously violated it and pursues a state policy of ethnic cleansing against the Armenian population of Artsakh.
