VIDEO: MiG-31 Fighter Jet Crashes in Russia

A MiG-31 fighter jet has crashed in the Murmansk region, according to Russian media outlets.

The incident reportedly occurred in the Monchegorsk area, located 115 km south of Murmansk, in the central part of the region. Eyewitness accounts indicated that the jet caught fire in the air before beginning its descent.

Later, the Ministry of Defense confirmed the crash of the MiG-31. The defense department emphasized that the aircraft went down in an uninhabited area, and both pilots ejected safely, with neither in danger of life or health.
